40 Young People to be Employed with 1 Million Employment Project in Şanlıurfa

Hazine ve Maliye Bakanlığı Bilgi Teknolojileri Genel Müdürlüğü, Bulutistan ve Şanlıurfa Valiliği arasında imzalanan protokol ile Şanlıurfa’da 40 genç istihdam edilecek.

With the protocol signed between the Ministry of Treasury and Finance General Directorate of Information Technologies, Bulutistan and Şanlıurfa Governorship, 40 young people will be employed in Şanlıurfa.

Within the scope of the '1 Million Employment Project', the Ministry of Treasury and Finance General Directorate of Information Technologies, Şanlıurfa Governorship and Bulutistan company signed the "Employment Guaranteed Training Program Protocol for Şanlıurfa Province". The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Cebrail Taşkın, General Director of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Serap Özmen Çetin, Şanlıurfa Haliliye District District Governor and Deputy Governor, Mutlu Ataç, board member of Bulutistan Company, managers of the relevant Ministry and managers of the institutions that will contribute to the program in Şanlıurfa.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Cebrail Taşkın said that they continue to reap the fruits of the URFA 4.0 Summit held in June. Taşkın emphasized that they are the supporters of employment-guaranteed training programs and all technologically-oriented economic growth activities that will take place in Şanlıurfa, and noted that the new peanut of Urfa will be software. Bulutistan Board Member Mutlu Ataç stated that their support for the project and employment will continue. Ataç noted that they have new works for sustainable and more employment in Şanlıurfa. Şanlıurfa Haliliye District Governor and Deputy Governor Serap Özmen Çetin also made a short speech at the ceremony. Stating that the world is changing, Çetin emphasized that Turkey and Şanlıurfa should catch up with this change by producing technology. Çetin noted that they are carrying out the necessary work for Şanlıurfa to be a leader in this field as in every subject.

Urfa 4.0 Summit was held in Şanlıurfa on June 13-14, 2022 under the coordination of the General Directorate of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. With the summit that brought together all stakeholders and citizens in Şanlıurfa; synergy that will ensure sustainable development by increasing added value, potential and employment in the fields of Agriculture, Tourism, Textile and Technology

As one of the activities planned at the end of the summit, a second employment-guaranteed training and employment program in the field of information technologies was launched as part of the 1 Million Jobs Project under the ownership of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. A cooperation protocol was signed at the Ankara Dikmen Campus of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance between the General Directorate of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Şanlıurfa Governorship and Bulutistan, a company that promised employment in its branch office in Şanlıurfa. Within the scope of the program, it is planned to train 200 young people in Şanlıurfa for 1 year in 5 different fields and to employ 40 young people in the first phase at the end of the training process.
